Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic QTS Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Derby.
This role is ideally suited for a September start, though an earlier start may be considered for the right candidate.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching across Key Stages 1 and 2.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners.
- A passion for inspiring and supporting children in their academic and personal development.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing learning environment.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate lessons to support learners of varying abilities.
- Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Providing individual and group learning support to maximise student potential.
- Assessing pupils' progress and maintaining accurate records to support their development.
- Encouraging a positive and stimulating classroom atmosphere that fosters a love for learning.
- Contributing to the school's extracurricular activities and wider initiatives.
- Supporting children's social and emotional well-being alongside academic success.
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and fellow educators to enhance learning experiences.
