Your new job working as a Private Client Account Executive will be based in the City of London for an Independent Lloyd's Broker. Your new Brokers a wealth of staff around the UK. They have grown rapidly in the last 20 years to become one of the top independent brokers in the UK dealing with over 16,000+ clients. Having completed numerous successful acquisitions, the company has secured further funding to continue its ambitious growth plans. They hold Chartered Insurance Broker status, awarded in recognition of their commitment to maintaining the highest standards in many areas. The Private Client team brings a wealth of expertise and extensive market knowledge and specialized expertise in HNW and Private Clients insurance. The Private Client team are dedicated to delivering tailored insurance solutions to meet these specific needs effectively. Due to growth within their Private Client division, a permanent role for a Private Client Account Executive has arisen.
Your new role
Your new role as a Private Client Account Executive means you will manage and provide solutions for a portfolio of Private Client, Mid-Market and Emerging Wealth accounts. It requires proactive client management, strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the Private Client market. You will work closely with clients to build long-lasting relationships to understand their needs, deal with any new business, manage renewals and handle all opportunities for growth by giving expert advice and servicing clients from inception to completion. Liaising extensively with both clients and Underwriters as well as collaborating with internal teams.
Duties will include serving as the primary point of contact with clients by handling inquiries and providing advice, proactively engaging with clients to adjust policies when necessary, identify new business opportunities, driving growth by offering tailored commercial insurance solutions, overseeing the renewal process and negotiating competitive terms. Further duties will also include ensuring policies reflect evolving client needs, working closely with colleagues to include account handers, contributing to team success. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, brokers and other key contacts and stay informed on market developments.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as an Account Executive specialising in Private Clients, Mid-Market or Emerging Wealth business with a strong knowledge of insurance products and market trends will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be able to manage a client portfolio effectively, ensuring long-term retention. You will also have excellent communication, negotiation and client management skills, good organisational skills, the ability to multitask, proactive, solution-oriented, self-motivated and effective teamwork skills with a client-focused mindset to ensure client satisfaction. Ideally, working towards or holding industry qualifications and experience using insurance platforms and systems.
