Are you an experienced manufacturing leader with a passion for continuous improvement?
We're hiring a Factory Manager to lead operations at a high-volume manufacturing site in Falkirk. With around 250 staff under your leadership, you'll be responsible for Production, Engineering, Health & Safety, and Quality - driving results through people, process, and data.

This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in line balancing, lean manufacturing, and leading large teams in a fast-paced environment. You'll have the autonomy to make a real difference and the backing of a supportive senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily operations across production, engineering, H&S, and quality.

  • Drive manufacturing KPIs, ensuring targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery are met.

  • Build a lean/CI culture, implementing tools such as 5S, visual management, and root cause analysis.

  • Analyse production data to identify bottlenecks and optimise line balancing and resource planning.

  • Develop and coach team leaders and supervisors to build capability and ownership.

  • Reduce downtime through collaboration with the engineering and maintenance teams.

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and ISO standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience as a Factory Manager / Operations Manager / Production Manager in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

  • Proven leadership of large teams (100+ people).

  • Strong analytical skills - confident using data to drive performance improvements.

  • Deep understanding of line balancing, workflow optimisation, and labour efficiency.

  • Working knowledge of HSE regulations and ISO 9001/14001/45001.

  • HNC or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar.
