Care Team Leader | Up to £15.50 per hour (incl. location allowance) | 36.5 Hours per Week | Specialist Neuro-Rehabilitation Service

Our client is seeking a confident and compassionate Care Team Leader to join their specialist neuro-rehabilitation service, supporting adults with complex care needs in a highly personalised and therapeutic setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant or Team Leader who is ready to take the lead in delivering person-centred care within a skilled and supportive multidisciplinary team.

As Care Team Leader, you will play a key part in the day-to-day care delivery and leadership within the service. You’ll guide and mentor the care team, contribute to care planning, and ensure each individual receives the highest standard of care tailored to their needs.

What You’ll Need

  • Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Experience in a care setting, ideally as a Senior Healthcare Assistant or Team Leader
  • Strong understanding of person-centred care, care planning, and safeguarding
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and health & safety requirements
  • Confidence in supporting colleagues and leading by example
  • A calm, empathetic, and professional approach to care

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise and support the care team on shift
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents with neuro-rehabilitation needs
  • Support with care planning and contribute to reviews and assessments
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with care plans and risk assessments
  • Promote a safe and respectful environment in line with health and safety standards
  • Uphold policies and ensure compliance with legislation and regulatory frameworks
  • Act as a positive role model, encouraging learning and best practices across the team
