Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cambuslang. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. Working as an integral member of the team you will work closely to ensure the residents and staff have a safe environment. The role can be both physically and mentally demanding, the ideal candidate will be expected to understand the empathy required with elderly people.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

* Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of various maintenance techniques and tools.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant qualifications in maintenance or engineering (desirable).

Responsibilities:

* Provide first line quality maintenance and repairs to the home
* Act on maintenance requests from Management & Residents in a timely manner
* Ensure all maintenance is carried out in a professional and efficient manner
* Carry out preventative and safe works to reduce future costs to the business
* Maintain a safe and presentable environment for staff, residents and family members
* Bring to the attention of Management Team any maintenance items which have serious implications for residents and/or the building
* Comply with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control
* Actively participate in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety
* Identify and report any health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace.
* Utilise personal protective equipment appropriately.
