Job – Welder and Fabricator

ESS Employment Ltd are seeking a highly skilled Welder and Fabricator. We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator with experience of cutting, bending, punch press, assembling, welding and able to understand and follow drawings.

Responsibilities
• Weld, Fabricate, assemble and working on sheet metal components
• Work from engineering drawings to complete customer builds, working with dimensional tools such as rules, calculators, set squares etc.
• Set and operate hydraulic press brake
• Fasten and join seams in sheet metal with solder, welds, inserts etc.
• Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file and grind metal surfaces and joints of parts that have been assembled
• Select the appropriate type and gauge of sheet metal to be used in projects

Ideal Skills:
• Experience of MIG Welding
• Proven experience in the assembly of sheet metal components and fabrications
• Be able to read and work from customer drawings
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Be able to lift heavy materials and tools

TIG welding experience would also be an advantage.
