Summary

This hybrid role offers a great balance of home and office working. You’ll join your colleagues in your local office at least 2 days a week.

As the UK’s largest fibre-only network, and its only proven wholesale challenger, we’re busy setting new standards for what digital infrastructure can and should be.

Designed from scratch for the internet, our network is greener, more reliable and ready for the future. The products we provide over it not only lead the market on speed, value and service, they help businesses to innovate, provide entire communities with a better foundation for their digital lives and support economic growth, locally and nationally.

What does that mean for you? The opportunity to make internet connections (and daily life) a whole lot better, for a lot of people!

Joining us as the Head of Enterprise PMO

You will lead our demand management, resource allocation, and project mobilisation efforts. This role involves using PPM tools for precise data reporting, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and enhancing PMO capabilities. This is some of what you can expect to be doing:

Build and mature PMO capabilities within the business, focusing on both traditional PMO roles and front-end demand management

Oversee the end-to-end orchestration of demand management, ensuring proper documentation, resource allocation, and project mobilisation

Leverage project portfolio management (PPM) tools to track resource utilisation and project accounting, ensuring accurate data reporting and interpretation

Facilitate effective cross-functional coordination and communication to avoid project conflicts and ensure smooth delivery

Establish credibility and build collaborative partnerships with senior stakeholders to drive project success

Align and integrate PMO activities with broader business changes, including recent organisational shifts

Skills in strategic planning, change management, project readiness, data interpretation and matrix leadership.

You’ll also have:

Experience in strategic planning and implementing long-term business plans

Expertise in managing and guiding operational changes smoothly

Skills in ensuring projects are ready to start with all necessary approvals and documentation in place

Ability to create and understand dashboards to make informed decisions based on data

Experience in leading and influencing teams effectively without direct authority
