We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to join our team at a newly mobilised contract site.

This is a key leadership position, responsible for the seamless day-to-day operations of both an office and a distribution centre.

Job Description

As Facilities Manager, you will oversee service delivery across a multidisciplinary team, including engineering and contractors, while cleaning services are managed separately.

Your ability to lead effectively, maintain high service standards, and ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment will be critical to success in this role.

We’re looking for a well-rounded facilities management professional with a strong customer focus and the confidence to take ownership from day one.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of office and distribution centre facilities, including maintenance and cleaning
Coordinate with service providers and contractors to ensure timely, quality service
Implement health and safety policies with regular inspections and risk assessments
Oversee budget and control costs for facilities expenses
Respond promptly to facilities issues and employee requests
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, service contracts, and compliance documents

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Previous experience in Facilities Manager or FM leadership role
Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and FM software tools
Knowledgeable of health and safety regulations and procedures
Organised, adaptable, and solution-focused
Ideally local with an understanding of mobilisation phase dynamics
