Summary
1. To apply quality control procedures to ensure that the standards of the Service provider comply with the contractual requirements 2. Conduct Quality Assurance audits as per NHS Cleaning Standards and NHS standards for food and drink and contract requirements 3. To liaise effectively with FM contract Managers and Supervisors to maintain standards and implement action plans 4. Work as part of team, but also to work using own initiative. Manage your own time and prioritise your own workload. 5. Daily liaison with other Team members on all service related issues to ensure the best possible service delivery to the Trust. 6. To be courteous to staff, visitors, service users & team members 7. To develop a good knowledge of the units you are visiting to enable efficient auditing practices 8. To understand the working patterns of the units you are visiting to ensure that the audits do not conflict with the units daily working pattern. 9. Attend training courses as required by the Trust. 10. To work closely with Soft FM Managers and other Facilities Team members, to communicate and promote good Team practises. 11. To contribute towards checking quality of linen to packed to ward sites, checking quality and quantities. 12. Report any breaches of policies using the Datix reporting protocols. 13. Create and prepare reports and audits relating to service delivery and performance and recommend actions where areas of improvement are identified.
