Are you an experienced RVN looking to take the next step in your career? Or perhaps you're already a Head Nurse searching for a new challenge in a vibrant, community-focused setting? This could be the perfect opportunity.

This well-established, two-vet practice has built a strong reputation for kindness, continuity of care and genuine client relationships. The team is a close-knit and supportive group, including a full-time HRVN, a part-time RVN, a Veterinary Care Assistant, two Client Care Assistants, and a dedicated Practice Manager. You’ll be stepping into a leadership role where your voice matters and your contribution is valued.

The clinic itself is well-equipped with everything you need to deliver exceptional care — including digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, a full in-house laboratory, dedicated theatre and kennels. The case load offers a satisfying balance of consults and surgery, and you’ll have plenty of scope to shape the nursing side of the practice as you grow into the role.

This is an ideal position for someone who leads with confidence, compassion and enthusiasm. You’ll have the opportunity to help develop the nursing team, influence protocols, and make a real impact in a practice that truly values its people. Clinical coaching experience is a bonus, but not essential — what matters most is your passion and team spirit.

The role offers excellent work-life balance with a 40-hour working week, no out-of-hours or bank holiday responsibilities, and just 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. Shifts are consistent, giving you the freedom to enjoy everything Brighton has to offer outside of work.

If you’re a passionate veterinary nurse who thrives in a team-focused environment and wants to help shape the future of a kind, forward-thinking practice, I would love to hear from you.
