Summary

Female Support Worker

Part time - 30 Hours per week

Driver with UK license required

Belle Vue, Leeds

£12.21 per hour

Our Belle Vue service is a lively supported living service with lots going on. We support three ladies with varying needs, who have active social lives. Two of the ladies have mobility vehicles so we are looking for a driver with a UK license for this position.

Real Life Options is a registered charity currently going through a period of growth, and we are continuing to search for permanent contracted Support Workers who really want to make an impact on the lives of the people we support.

The role

Across all services, we support individuals with learning disabilities who may need help with promoting independence and community participation, therefore you must have the ability to follow detailed support plans in order to ensure a consistent approach, and the individuals needs are being met.

You will be working alongside an established and experienced team to support 3 ladies to live as independently as possible. The ladies we support have a range of complex needs and your role would be to support with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management and household tasks such as laundry and cleaning. You will also support and encourage our service users to take part in activities within the community.

There can be some behavours that challenge in this service, incluiding but not limited to: verbal outburst, self-injurious behaviour and pushing furniture

Shifts

30 hours per week,
Day shifts on a rota basis:

8am-5pm
8am-8pm
10am-10pm
8am-3pm
3pm-10pm

Previous experience is desirable for this position although full training will be provided.

An enhanced DBS for working with adults is required for this role.
