Summary
Training/Education/ ResearchTo support the induction of new members of staff with a period of preceptorship and to participate in the mentorship of students and to supervise and teach others. Update personal knowledge and skills by attending and participating in study days, conferences and in-service training, including mandatory training sessions. To comply with trust and departmental requirements. Achieve personal training needs identified through a yearly personal professional review with your manager. Participate in clinical supervision. Identify areas for research and contribute and participate in nursing and medical research programmes. Disseminate information gained from research. Participate in quality monitoring in conjunction with Trusts Clinical audit and department audits.Other Duties responsibilitiesUndertake any other duties as appropriate to the grade as delegated by the Senior Nurse.
