Summary
Maintain confidentiality with sensitive information. Support the multidisciplinary team in service development. Participate in the effective and efficient use of physical and financial resources. This includes the correct rotation of stock to maximise supplies. Responsible for the ordering of supplies to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness Take a proactive role in the management of risk, i.e. risk assessments, reporting incidents near misses and hazards. Assuming all reasonable precautions for a safe and secure environment for self and others in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, reporting any areas of concern to the line manager. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and clinical guidelines for self and others. Assist in the monitoring of standards and quality of nursing care. Participate in the patient and public involvement activities. Promote peoples equality, diversity and rights.
