Summary
Humanities Teacher Job - Maternity Cover
Start: September 2025
End: May 2026
Timetable: Full-Time Long-Term
We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to teach Humanities Geography, History, RE to Key Stage 3 and 4. This is a full-time and long-term job covering Maternity.
We are looking for somebody who has relevant experience working with 11 - 16-year-olds within the last 2 years. Predominantly teaching Geography.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver Humanities Subjects up to KS5
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Predominantly teaching Geography, History and RS
- Predominantly teaching KS3 with a possibility of year 10.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in geography or a related field
- QTS Certificate
- Proven experience teaching Humanities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
