Summary

Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Warwickshire | Up to £550 per week

Location: Warwickshire Secondary School
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving secondary school in Warwickshire as a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant. You'll support students across KS3 and KS4, gain hands-on classroom experience, and work closely with expert educators as you prepare for your future career in education or related fields.

Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – About the Role

Salary: Up to £550 per week (term time only)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time role
Contract: Long-term Graduate STEM Teaching Assistantopportunity starting immediately or from September 2025
Subjects: Supporting learning in STEM subjects – Maths, Science, and/or Computing across KS3–KS4, including GCSE preparation

Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – Key Responsibilities

• Assisting in STEM lessons and leading small group intervention sessions
• Delivering one-to-one support for students needing extra help in Maths, Science, or Computing
• Helping to plan and deliver engaging, accessible, and practical lessons
• Supporting students' academic progress and fostering confidence in STEM subjects
• Collaborating with teaching staff, pastoral leaders, and the SEN team to meet pupils’ needs

Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant – What We're Looking For

• A 2:1 or above in a STEM subject (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Computer Science)
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for STEM education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
• A proactive, professional, and supportive approach to working in schools
