Summary
Clean all areas to the national standard of cleanliness using equipment provide to carry out hovering, buffing, scrubbing of, mopping, high and low level dusting Take down and hang curtains on windows and bed cubicles and ensure curtains bagged correctly for laundering Cleaning windows in wards, departments, theatres and corridors Toilet, bathroom, shower cleaning Deep cleaning to Trust infection control cleaning policy Responsible for ensuring colour coded cleaning system carried out and mop heads bagged correctly for laundering in line with domestic departmental procedures Liaise with nursing and departmental staff concerning cleaning duties, to ensure information is shared to promote a clean environment Inform Supervisors/line manager of equipment failures/faults of any equipment used to perform duties Responsible for cleaning domestic equipment used within the location and ensure secured safely after use, in line with Health & Safety and Housekeeping procedures
