Summary
2. OBJECTIVES OF THE POST To deliver care to patients with paediatric urology conditions at the Leeds Childrens Hospital Sub-specialty interest of stones with specialist clinics and theatre lists for this purpose Out-patient clinics - in Leeds and DGH around the region Operative lists Supervision of patients Care of in-patients on a 1:4 paediatric urology telephone on call rota Contribute to Specialist Multi-disciplinary team meetings, especially the stone service To link with Consultant colleagues in other relevant site specialist teams within the Childrens Hospital and across the Trust, To work with colleagues in paediatric urology to deliver acute on call (currently 1 in 4).This includes both out-of-hours cover in addition to acute ward rounds during normal working hours. There is a total of 22 Junior Doctors made up of LST/HST/Fellow of which one fellow and up to two Spr are dedicated to Urology. To contribute to research, teaching and new developments within the paediatric urology department. The post holder will be encouraged to facilitate and contribute to the current clinical research programs on going in the department.
