Up to £38,000 DOE
Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm

We’re looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team at a prestigious site in Reading. Working in partnership with our Head Chef, you’ll help lead the kitchen in delivering exceptional food, driving innovation, and maintaining the highest standards, all while working Monday to Friday, daytime hours only.
What You’ll Be Stirring Up
Support the Head Chef delivering creative, seasonal menus.
Help lead daily kitchen operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and flair.
Contribute to sustainability goals as part of our mission to be net zero by 2030.
Be a mentor to junior chefs nurturing talent and building a positive team culture.
Maintain food safety and hygiene excellence (HACCP, COSHH, Natasha’s Law, allergens etc.).
Keep a close eye on stock, waste, and food costing to support profitability.
We’re Looking For
- Experience in a Sous Chef or senior CDP role, ideally in contract catering or hospitality/events.
A passion for working with fresh, high-quality ingredients.
Strong kitchen leadership and communication skills.
Eye for detail in food presentation and execution.
Knowledge of food safety, compliance, and kitchen management systems.
Someone proactive, reliable, and excited to grow their culinary career.
