Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy and dedicated Private Sector Housing Team. We are a relatively large team delivering a wide range of services that integrate public and private sector partners, creating a bottom-up approach to supporting neighbourhoods offering real help where it is needed through the empty homes programme, an innovative home improvement agency, landlord enforcement, selective and HMO licensing, the Good Landlord and Agent Accreditation scheme and energy efficiency improvements.

If you would like to be part of reducing the number of empty properties in the Borough and improving housing conditions, join the Empty Homes team at this exciting time. You will need to demonstrate in your application form that you meet the criteria detailed in the person specification.

You must have experience of working in an administrative section of an organisation and of dealing with customers in person, in writing and on the telephone. You must have the ability to work as part of a team and maintain accurate records.

The team operates from the Town Hall combined with home working.

The Council offers a generous salary, pension, holiday entitlement and exceptional work/life balance initiatives. This is an opportunity not to be missed.

If you meet the essential criteria and feel you have the passion and desire to work with us, we would love to hear from you.
