Job Description
Tumbl Laundry Lounge is an all-new laundry concept combining a self-service laundry and serviced washing in a comfortable, seated and conveniently placed retail unit. Serviced washing includes wash, dry and fold/iron.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in the laundry trade such that they can oversee the operations of the business relatively independently.
Located in the heart of Cambuslang you can expect to be a part of the local community providing a valuable and essential service to customers. As manager of the premises, you can expect to be the everyday face of the brand and therefore must be hard-working, highly energised and possess the required experience in order to make a retail laundry operation successful.
Tumbl is part of a family-run retail business established in the 1980s .

What skills you will require
- Several years of experience in laundry operations and/or customer service roles
- Good spoken and written English
- Computer Literacy – excel, emails
- All-round knowledge of the laundry sector
- People Management Skills including training
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the operation as a whole

Duties
• Serving customers by greeting them; educating them about the new concept and ensuring their needs are fulfilled
• Becoming the face of the brand and being responsible for all operational aspects of the business – this includes cleaning and maintaining the self-service equipment, assisting with the serviced washing side of the business
• Epos till operation; cash handling, banking
• Booking system operations – recording customer orders in the system , ensuring jobs are tagged and identifiable, jobs are fulfilled on time to the highest on time
• Build and maintain a motivated and positive workforce who provide exceptional service to stakeholders.
• Ensure a safe environment for the workforce including following policies on, but not limited to, health and safety, manual handling and COSHH.
• Support with the recruitment and onboarding of laundry staff, as needed. Including developing front-of-house skills in colleagues
• Creating and implementing employee practices and carrying out training to ensure high quality of work
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the operation as required
