Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing logistics company based in Darlington who are looking to expand their team with reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers for tramping work.
This role offers regular ongoing work, Monday to Sunday.
Job duties: Running trailers from Darlington to Chelmsford, Bathgate or Bolton Trailer types include curtain side and refrigerated Night outs may be required - tramping work (Chelmsford run) Requirements: Valid Class 1 (C+E) UK Licence Valid Driver CPC (DQC) Valid Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 2 years commercial UK Class 1 experience (for insurance purposes) Maximum 6 points for minor offences - No DR or IN endorsements Hours of work: Shift start times vary Monday to Sunday Nights out (tramping) available Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour Monday to Friday £18.00 per hour Saturday £19.00 per hour Sunday £26 Night Out allowance Benefits of working for The Best Connection include: Weekly pay Online payslips Holiday accrual Personal accident insurance Pension accrual Ongoing assignments Access to Perks at Work temporary worker benefit scheme Candidates will be invited to register online via our digital onboarding system.
