Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar team at a prestigious venue in a rural location near Newbury, Berkshire. Due to the rural location, candidates must have a valid driving license and access to their own vehicle.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction
-Manage and train bar staff, fostering a positive and efficient team environment
-Develop and maintain beverage menus, including cocktails and seasonal specials
-Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory to minimize waste
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
-Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
-Drive sales through excellent service and innovative promotions
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a high-volume establishment
-Strong leadership and team management skills
-In-depth knowledge of beverages, mixology, and bar operations
-Must have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
-Financial acumen for budgeting and stock control
