Summary
Recruitment Professionals is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Administrator to join a thriving nursery in North London. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled administrator with a passion for early years education and excellent organisational skills.
You will be the central hub of the nursery’s operations—supporting staff, engaging with parents, and ensuring smooth day-to-day running of administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing enquiries and admissions processes
- Maintaining accurate records (child data, attendance, staff files)
- Supporting recruitment and onboarding of new staff
- Coordinating staff schedules and training calendars
- Handling correspondence, emails, phone calls, and visitor queries
- Assisting with invoicing, registers, and fee tracking
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and health & safety policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, email, nursery software desirable)
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Friendly, approachable, and professional manner
- Knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding is a bonus
