Further details about the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Science Department as a Technician. Each day you will provide technical support to our team of science teachers, ensuring all apparatus and equipment is available and set up to meet the daily timetable needs for our young people. You will work within a friendly team of three technicians, led by the Senior Science Technician who will provide day to day advice and support.
The actual salary is £20,428 per annum based on working 37 hours a week during term time over 5 days with 3 plus days which are usually worked on school training days. The salary is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month. We are happy to consider applications on a part-time basis with a reduced number of hours being worked over 5 days a week.
