Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and creative practitioner to provide one to one support for students in the secondary phase of the school. It is desirable that candidates have grade C GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths and a good level of spoken English. We are seeking someone who is an excellent team member and who is able to develop positive behaviour strategies with children.
Responsibilities:
• Provide in-class support to students aged 11–16, including those with additional learning needs.
• Work closely with teaching staff to assist with lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Support students in small groups or one-to-one, both academically and socially.
• Promote positive behaviour and a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Assist in the delivery of intervention programmes and support strategies.
• Help track student progress and maintain accurate records.
