Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Strong knowledge and understanding of the legal framework surrounding primary and/or secondary school admissions and school admission appeals.
Excellent command of English with strong attention to detail, clarity and accuracy.
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, adapting messages appropriately.
Highly computer literate with proficiency in standard office software, particularly Microsoft Office and Google.
Experience of School Admissions within a primary or secondary school setting
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding organisational skills to support the efficient delivery or responsibilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Ability to provide clear guidance on school admission processes to school staff to facilitate effective administration of their admission responsibilities.
Proactive and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, using initiative and working independently.

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Admissions Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team in a role that is both rewarding and impactful.
As a Regional Admissions Officer, you will support schools across the South West Region by providing expert guidance and support on all aspects of the school admission process, including school admission appeals.
The ideal candidate will bring relevant experience in a similar role and demonstrate a proven track record of delivering high-quality support within an educational or admissions setting. A commitment to excellent service and strong attention to detail are essential.
The Shared Service Admissions Team provides expert support on all matters related to school admissions, admissions appeals and admission arrangements. We work closely with schools, parents/carers and local authorities to ensure a smooth and transparent admissions process.
Greenshaw Learning Trust is a highly successful multi academy trust that provides excellent quality, comprehensive and inclusive education through primary schools and secondary schools. Our schools are based in London, Surrey, Berkshire, Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire, Bristol and Plymouth. We also have three shared service hubs where our central teams can be based out of.
