Summary

Monday to Friday 11.30am to 1.30pm $ú 10 hours per week - Term time only - Permanent

Churchend Primary Academy is looking to appoint a dedicated Lunchtime Controller to join our friendly team and help ensure our pupils have a safe, happy, and enjoyable lunchtime experience.

Responsibilities: Supervising children in the dining hall, playground and during wet weather indoor breaks. Encouraging positive play and social interaction. Supporting children with their meals and promoting good table manners. Ensuring the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the lunch period. Administering basic first aid when necessary (training will be provided if required). Working as part of a team to promote a calm and inclusive school environment.

We are looking for someone who: Enjoys working with children and understands the importance of positive relationships. Is reliable, punctual and committed to supporting the school community. Can work effectively as part of a team and show initiative when needed. Is calm, patient and able to manage behaviour positively.

What the school offers its staff

An EY qualification at level 2 or 3 would be an advantage. Appropriate training will be available.
