Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our flagship catering operation at a prestigious client site near Heathrow Airport. This multifaceted location includes a vibrant restaurant, two barista-led cafés, as well as an events and hospitality service.
You’ll oversee a team of 20+, delivering excellence Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 17:00.
Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
WHAT WILL KEEP YOU BUSY:
Lead the catering operation to meet and exceed financial targets
Inspire and manage the performance of your team, conducting regular appraisals and identifying development opportunities
Hold frequent team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates from the company and client
Ensure financial systems are accurate and efficient
Collaborate with the Operations Manager on budget preparation and performance
Continuously develop and enhance the catering and hospitality offering in line with client needs and expectations
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
A passion for leading and developing high-performing teams
Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to maximise revenue
Excellent communication, delegation, and influencing skills
Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive under pressure
Confident in managing a complex, fast-paced operation
A natural leader who delivers exceptional customer experiences and sets high standards
Financially astute with experience in budget creation, forecasting, and performance analysis
Eligible to obtain an airside ID, requiring (5-year referencing, DBS check, and GSAT, training will be provided)
