Support Worker – Brain Injury & Epilepsy | £15–£16.50/hr |Sevenoaks Job Type: Full-time Salary: £15.00 – £16.50 per hour Hours: 43 hours per week Shifts: Day & Night Shifts (including sleep-ins) Location: Sevenoaks, Kent Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Support Worker to join a dedicated care team supporting a female client living with the effects of a brain injury and epilepsy. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a background in complex care who is passionate about making a difference. Shift Pattern Friday 2:00pm – Monday 9:00am (includes sleep-in nights) Monday 9:00am – 11:00pm (with sleep-in) Tuesday 9:00am – 11:00pm (with sleep-in) About the Client The client experienced a stroke in 2019 following epilepsy surgery. She requires support with: Mobility (left-sided weakness, FES devices, splints) Peripheral vision loss (support with spatial awareness) Executive function challenges (processing, memory, organisation) Hydrotherapy (transport only – no pool entry required) Medication administration Key Responsibilities Administering medication safely and accurately Supporting mobility and use of assistive devices Driving to appointments and hydrotherapy sessions Providing emotional support and managing anxiety Following communication strategies from the S&L therapist Promoting independence while ensuring safety Essential Experience Brain Injury support Epilepsy care Medication administration Challenging behaviour management Anxiety support Requirements Full UK driving licence (essential) Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) Flexibility to work weekends and sleep-in shifts What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Consistent weekly hours Ongoing specialist training Supportive and collaborative team environment #libertatemLibertatem Healthcare The Libertatem Healthcare Group, part of Sonderwell, was established to provide the very best levels of care and support for clients who have sustained Personal Injuries or suffered from Medical Negligence.Operating on a national basis, Libertatem Healthcare Group can provide your clients with care and support wherever they are located.
