Randstad Education is currently recruiting for a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistant with experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs) to support students in a vibrant and inclusive school in the local area. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of patience, consistency, and personalised support in a child's development.

Role Overview:

  • Provide one-to-one and group support to children with SEN

  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management

  • Implement individual learning plans (ILPs) and behaviour support strategies

  • Encourage the social and emotional development of pupils

  • Foster a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (e.g., Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs)

  • A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

  • Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
