Summary
JOB TITLE: Duty Supervisor
SCHOOL: Smithills Sports Centre
WORKING PATTERN: 25 hrs per week, Evenings and Weekends
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent
SALARY: Grade D point 6 to 11 £25,183 - £27,269 per annum pro-rata
£13.05 per hour
CLOSING DATE: Friday 25th July 2025 at 9.00am
INTERVIEW DATE: W/C 28th July 2025
THE ROLE:
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified candidate to work as one of the Sports Centre team to ensure, to the satisfaction of the Centre Manager, the safe and efficient operation of the Sports Facilities through effective use of resources and compliance with operational procedures. You will ensure that all operational procedures, financial regulations, legal requirements and management instructions are complied with and that all staff carry out allocated tasks safely, correctly and effectively. You will safely prepare all facilities for public use e.g. sports hall, changing areas, pitches, equipment etc. and give assistance to customers seeking advice and information.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience of working with the general public and you will have a sound understanding of the safe use of all equipment with particular emphasis on the Fitness Room and the ability to work as part of a team working to a defined quality level and common objectives. You will possess good interpersonal skills, and be a friendly, outgoing person who likes to meet different people
