Summary
Grade Soulbury scp5 £27,947.72 to scp8 £30,398.64 per annum, plus essential car user allowance

The Role
Come and join a great team within the Start Well Service in Bolton to provide pedagogical leadership to support implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and early years providers to meet the learning and development needs of children with SEND.
This is an exciting role within Bolton Start Well Service to make a difference through targeted early prevention work in early years, to improve quality and outcomes for children by the end of the EYFS and narrow the gap in attainment for the most disadvantaged children.
The post holder will focus on supporting settings in improving inclusive early years education. Giving support and advice to enhance existing good practice and identify opportunities to further develop practice for children with SEND using effective monitoring and evaluating procedures.
The role supports providers to ensure the effective and positive transition for all children with SEND, liaising with local Private, Voluntary and Independent (PVI) settings and primary schools.
This role will work closely with partners in the 0-19 Children and Young people’s Health and Wellbeing service, Woodbridge, SENDAS and Early Years Communication and Language service.
The postholder will focus on narrowing the gap in attainment for children with SEND through the development and dissemination of effective EYFS practice.
