The Role
The HR/OD Business Partner role is a challenging but rewarding one, in a proactive team that works collaboratively across the organisation. You will need to be a proven HR/OD professional with drive, ambition and a passion for excellence to lead and achieve workforce solutions to improve Council services and outcomes for residents.
The HR/OD Business Partner role is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced HR/OD practitioner who is looking to be part of a proactive team that makes a real difference; designing and implementing successful workforce strategies to deliver large scale organisational change programmes.
You will have an excellent track record of project management to successfully deliver large-scale organisational workforce change programmes. You will be highly self-motivated to deliver projects through to the end, working both independently and with stakeholders on your own initiative.
You will be joining an enthusiastic, motivated and highly professional People Service, providing a comprehensive HR/OD offer across the organisation.

You will drive forward the People Plan to enable services to establish and sustain effective workforce management approaches to deliver high quality services for residents.
To be successful in the role you will be a proactive, driven individual with an up-to-date knowledge of employment law, best practice and strategic thinking in HR along with strong generalist HR experience. You will be a confident influencer, adept at managing multiple priorities and will be CIPD qualified (Level 6).
