Summary
Join our Derbyshire Recovery Partnership team as a Trainee Recovery Connector Practitioner, supporting people recovering from drug and alcohol use across the High Peak area.
You'll work closely with:
Recovery Connector Workers
Drug and Alcohol Key Workers
A new Lives Experience Pathway Coordinator
In this hands-on trainee role, you'll gain skills, knowledge, and practical experience through structured training and coaching. You'll support individuals through their recovery journey by:
Connecting them to community groups, mutual aid meetings, and structured activities
Helping deliver group sessions (in person and online)
Attending appointments with service users to reduce barriers and build confidence
Supporting recovery planning and harm reduction work
Promoting positive change and visible recovery in the community

About you
We're looking for someone who is:
Passionate about recovery and helping others
Motivating, proactive, and supportive
A strong communicator with good written and IT skills (Excel knowledge essential)
Willing and able to travel across the High Peak area (full driving licence and access to a vehicle required)
