Summary
Key Responsibilities:1) Assessment and management of children and young people, and to provide psychiatric input for both routine and emergency clinical care. 2) Supervision of junior medical staff. It is expected the post holder will be an accredited clinical supervisor, or will become so if not already3) Attending and chairing clinical meetings as timetabled.4) Liaising and communicating with the MDT, other professionals, teams and agencies5) Strong clinical leadership6) Provision of advice to other CAMHS teams. 7) Participation in peer and group supervision meetings. 8) Participation in training of medical students, psychiatric trainees and multidisciplinary staff.9) Adherence to agreed job plan and appraisal procedures set by the Trust. Also to complete GMC Revalidation requirements within every 5 year cycle 10) Maintain GMC registration, maintain a License to Practice and participate in CPD to remain in good standing with the Royal College of Psychiatrists. 11) Maintain Section 12 and Approved Clinician approval.
