- Liaising seamlessly with class teachers, the SENCo, and wider pastoral teams to ensure a unified approach to student well-being.
- Systematically tracking and analysing behaviour patterns, providing invaluable feedback for reviews and strategic planning.

What We Require: Essential Qualities & Expertise

To thrive in this impactful position, you will need:
- Demonstrable experience working with children or young people, specifically in contexts involving challenging behaviours or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- A nuanced understanding of the various influences on behaviour and a repertoire of effective positive intervention methods.
- Competence in de-escalation practices; relevant training (e.g. , Team Teach, MAPA) is a distinct advantage.
- Exceptional levels of patience, adaptability, and empathy when managing complex behavioural scenarios.
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication abilities, crucial for establishing rapport with pupils, staff, and families.
- A current enhanced DBS check, or a readiness to apply for one.
