We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work with SEND children in a Year 1 class. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring they achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide tailored support to SEND children in Year 1, focusing on both academic and personal development.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of activities that cater to the specific needs of SEND students.
- Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement effective strategies that promote learning and inclusion.
- Monitor and support the child's progress and adapt approaches as needed.
- Assist with personal care tasks as required, ensuring dignity and respect for the child.
- Facilitate communication between the child, school staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to the child's education and well-being.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment for the children.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably with Level 3 qualification.
- Experience working with SEND children, particularly in a KS1 setting
- Knowledge of the educational, social, and personal needs of young children with disabilities.
- Paediatric first aid certification is preferable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to inclusive education and the principles of equality and diversity.
