Summary
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Section Foreman with a strong background in earthworks to join our team on a major infrastructure project.
Requirements:
- ✅ Gold CSCS Card
- ✅ SSSTS or SMSTS
- ✅ Proven experience managing earthworks and groundworks crews
- ✅ Strong leadership and communication skills
- ✅ Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all earthworks operations including excavation, compaction, muck shifting, and sub-base installation
- Lead site teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of works
- Liaise with engineers and site management to ensure work is delivered to specification and programme
- Enforce strict health & safety practices, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure PPE compliance
- Monitor progress and productivity, keeping records and reporting daily to site management
- Manage plant, labour, and materials effectively on site
