Summary

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to lead teams on a high-profile civil engineering/infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing site operations and delivering work to a high standard of safety and efficiency.

✅ Requirements:

  • Black CSCS Card
  • SMSTS certification
  • Strong background in civil engineering - drainage, earthworks , or highways
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Valid UK driving licence (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day site activities and direct site teams, subcontractors, and plant operatives
  • Ensure works are carried out safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
  • Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and the project manager
  • Lead and participate in daily briefings, toolbox talks, and safety inspections
  • Maintain site records and daily reports
  • Manage resources including labour, materials, and plant efficiently
  • Support continuous improvement and mentor junior team members
