The IT Services department is on exciting evolution path to become a well-connected and innovative department, that delivers significant business value.



This role will require the postholder to utilise their strong technical expertise in audio-visual solutions, demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, liaise proficiently with third party suppliers, display exceptional time management, and can develop a vision for the future of audio-visual at USW.



The role of the Audio-Visual Specialist is to design and implement audio-visual solutions for various settings such as classrooms, meeting rooms, conferences, and digital displays. Additionally, they will oversee the maintenance of current AV (Audio Visual) equipment and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that audio and visual requirements are met. Staying up to date with the latest audio-visual developments is also crucial for this position.



This is a full-time, permanent post within IT Services at based at Treforest campus (Pontypridd, with regular travel to Cardiff and Newport to provide AV support). The successful candidate would be expected to work on campus full time.
