Trainer Assessor for Healthcare/Health and Social Care

Salary: £35,071 to £37,201 full time equivalent
£21,042 to £22,320 actual salary
Location: Based at Wakefield College, but working across our other sites, Castleford and Selby, and to other sites across the districts will be required.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainer Assessor for Healthcare to join our Apprenticeships team. This opportunity will allow you to pass on your experience and knowledge of the healthcare sector to young people in order to help support them achieve their goals.
As a Trainer Assessor for Healthcare, you will deliver high quality training to both individuals and groups and assess learners in their place of work and College to meet National Occupational Standards within the healthcare sector.
We are looking for a Level 3 qualified healthcare professional, who has experience of working within a clinical health care setting, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work with employers to grow business.
As a Trainer / Assessor for Healthcare you should:
Be qualified to Level 3 in Healthcare
Hold D32/D33, TAQA or A1 Assessor award, be undertaking or willing to undertake
Hold GCSE A* C / 9 – 4 in English and Maths or equivalent
Have a Full Driving Licence and own transport/or access to transport
