As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring continuity in the classroom when teachers are absent. You won’t need to plan lessons or mark work — instead, you’ll deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, and keep the classroom running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing as a Cover Supervisor:

• Delivering lessons based on pre-set plans in a variety of subjects

  
  

• Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students engaged

  
  

• Working across multiple departments and year groups (ages 11–16+)

  
  

• Acting as a positive role model and maintaining a focused learning environment

  
  

• Communicating effectively with staff and students alike

  
  

  We’re looking for Cover Supervisors who:

  • Have a CACHE Level 2/3 qualification or at least 6 months of experience in a classroom setting

    
    

  • Are confident leading a classroom of secondary students

    
    

  • Have great communication and behaviour management skills

    
    

  • Are flexible and ready to adapt in a fast-paced school environment
