Summary

McGinley Support Services are looking for an experienced and reliable Civil Supervisor to join our team on a long-term infrastructure project based in Norwich.

What We're Looking For:

  • Gold CSCS Card
  • SSSTS and EUSR (essential)
  • ✅ Strong background in structural and civil engineering supervision
  • ✅ Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (due to location)

Pay & Contract:

  • Rate: £22.27 per hour
  • Contract Type: PAYE only
  • Hours: Full-time, with overtime available

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Civil Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of the project. Duties include:

  • Day-to-day supervision of site operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality of work
  • Coordinating structural works, including reinforced concrete, drainage, and groundworks
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, including carrying out toolbox talks, site inspections, and method statement reviews
  • Liaising with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to plan and sequence work efficiently
  • Monitoring site progress, reporting issues, and ensuring that work is completed to specification and on time
  • Managing labour and material resources, ensuring efficient use and minimal wastage
  • Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, site diaries, and quality checklists
  • Supporting the site team with problem-solving, mentoring operatives, and enforcing best practices on site
