Summary
McGinley Support Services are looking for an experienced and reliable Civil Supervisor to join our team on a long-term infrastructure project based in Norwich.
What We're Looking For:
- ✅ Gold CSCS Card
- ✅ SSSTS and EUSR (essential)
- ✅ Strong background in structural and civil engineering supervision
- ✅ Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (due to location)
Pay & Contract:
- Rate: £22.27 per hour
- Contract Type: PAYE only
- Hours: Full-time, with overtime available
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Civil Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of the project. Duties include:
- Day-to-day supervision of site operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and quality of work
- Coordinating structural works, including reinforced concrete, drainage, and groundworks
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, including carrying out toolbox talks, site inspections, and method statement reviews
- Liaising with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to plan and sequence work efficiently
- Monitoring site progress, reporting issues, and ensuring that work is completed to specification and on time
- Managing labour and material resources, ensuring efficient use and minimal wastage
- Maintaining accurate site records, including progress reports, site diaries, and quality checklists
- Supporting the site team with problem-solving, mentoring operatives, and enforcing best practices on site
