Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Groundworks Ganger to lead a small team on a busy construction project in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a solid background in groundwork operations and team supervision.

Requirements:

  • Blue CSCS Card or Gold Card
  • SSSTS or SMSTS qualification
  • Proven experience working as a Ganger or Team Leader in groundworks
  • Ability to manage workloads, delegate tasks, and maintain site safety
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude

Duties will include:

  • Supervising and coordinating a gang of groundworkers on site
  • Overseeing tasks such as drainage, foundations, ducting, kerbing, and concrete works
  • Ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards
  • Liaising with site managers, engineers, and contractors to meet project goals
  • Maintaining health & safety compliance and completing toolbox talks
  • Keeping accurate records of progress and materials as required
  • Rate: £18.86 per hour
