We’re looking for a dedicated and driven Operations Supervisor to support the Site Operations Manager in leading the day-to-day running of our busy Cross Dock warehouse operation at our Dagenham Distribution Centre.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Operations Supervisor, you’ll help lead the warehouse team to ensure safe, efficient, and effective operations. You’ll be hands-on, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding service for our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting a safe, compliant, and well-organised Cross Dock warehouse

  • Ensuring all warehouse processes and procedures are followed

  • Monitoring staffing levels, workloads, and equipment usage

  • Leading and motivating the warehouse team to achieve performance targets

  • Driving a positive working culture that reflects our values and behaviours

  • Coaching and mentoring colleagues, supporting development and succession

  • Identifying and implementing improvements in efficiency and service

  • Supporting performance reviews, training, and development of team members

  • Assisting with planning for peak periods and stock flow

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone with previous experience in warehouse or distribution centre operations who can bring energy, leadership, and a customer-first mindset.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment

  • Knowledge of Cross Dock operations (preferred)

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to lead, influence, and develop a team
