We are seeking a calm, patient, and compassionate Personal Assistant to support a young individual with autism and mental health needs, including anxiety, special needs, occasional panic attacks, and some obsessive behaviours.

The ideal candidate will have a gentle, encouraging approach and be comfortable providing emotional support in a relaxed, home-based environment.

This role involves engaging in simple, structured activities such as playing Monopoly, card games/board games, or baking, while creating a safe and reassuring space where the individual feels understood and at ease.

Flexibility is key, as the person responds best to someone who can go with the flow, follow his cues, and offer support in a relaxed, grounded manner.

Duties include:
- Medication prompting/administering
- Personal grooming
- Eating and drinking assistance
- Other relevant duties as required
- Administration
- Housekeeping
- Shopping
- Cooking
- Transportation
- Companionship
- He has an allergy to pet fur so be careful of that
- He has food allergies/intolerances but he will let you know what they are during cooking/baking

Candidate qualities:

Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
