Summary
The post of Specialty Doctor in Ophthalmology (10 programmed activities) will be based at Queens hospital but will be expected to work across sites. The successful applicant will join 2 Consultant Led teams covering Medical Retina. The post holder will be trained in diagnosing and managing retinal conditions. Access to theatre sessions can be considered for suitable candidates. The successful applicant will work innovatively with our clinical team and a range of partners to research, design and deliver this service. Key partners will be the Trust A&E Departments, Optometrist, GPs, Nurses and Managers in primary and secondary care.
