Summary
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Practice Duties: Provide consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions Carry out clinical examinations and make referrals where appropriate Undertake telephone/video consultations and home visits as necessary Prescribe medications safely and in accordance with current guidelines Contribute to the achievement of QOF and other contractual targets Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, and PCN staff Participate in practice audits, significant event reviews, and clinical governance Support continuity of care through effective record keeping Womens Health (Desirable) Manage menopause, menstrual disorders, and other reproductive health issues Desirable Skills and Qualifications MRCGP and full GMC registration with a licence to practise Inclusion on the NHS England performers list Experience or formal training in womens health (e.g. DFSRH, DRCOG) is desirable but not essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to high standards of care and continuous professional development
