For decades, the College of Food at University College Birmingham has been renowned worldwide for its culinary education, supporting, through training and education, the world of culinary arts, food service, hotel, and hospitality management. We are now entering an exciting phase of growth and looking to further the commercial opportunities within our campuses and around the city.
Therefore, we are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing and purchasing for our diverse catering operations, including restaurants, lecture kitchens, campus catering, and conference services. Although the role is primarily focused on these departments, there will be further scope to oversee other procurement opportunities throughout the University.
This is a key role responsible for ensuring the cost-effective and timely procurement of quality goods and services that align with the university’s sustainability, compliance, and service delivery standards
