Maintaining our Homes: Painter at Kingdom Group

communities. With housing challenges across Scotland, the work we do has never been more important. Our Asset Operations Team works together to provide a high quality maintenance and repair service for the Kingdom Group.
To support this vital work, we’re recruiting for a Painter. This is an exciting opportunity
to join a forward-thinking organisation where your skills will help to maintain homes
within the Kingdom Group, supporting our vision of Great Homes, Services, People,
and Communities.

The Role
As a Painter, you’ll:
● Work as part of the Asset Operations Team to deliver exceptional customer
service and experience.
● Carry out all required painting and decorating work in our properties, offices and
any other buildings.
● Carry out multi skilled work such as basic plumbing, joinery and plaster works.
● Understand and follow risk assessments and method statements.
● Effectively use relevant online platforms/systems for record keeping, including
recording of jobs and materials.
You will provide routine and emergency repairs in our customers homes, change of
tenancy repairs in void properties and other categories of repairs and minor works in
our properties and staff bases.

About You
Your areas of knowledge & expertise that matter most for this role:
● 4 year apprenticeship in relevant trade (SCQF 6)
● Previous experience in a Painter role
● The ability to carry out multiskilled work, including basic plumbing work
● Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
● Strong customer service skills
● Basic digital skills
● Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
